- Man, once those Taiwanese animators catch a whiff of blood, they never quit. Taiwan’s Next Media Animation already has two computer-generated videos about Mayor Rob Ford‘s crack scandal in its back catalog, and now here’s a third. This latest one, embedded above, is about the mayor’s escapades on Friday at Taste of the Danforth, and also his mysterious visit to an imprisoned pal.
- Speaking of the mayor, Ward 36 Councillor Gary Crawford‘s portrait of him seems to be coming along pretty well. At any rate, it looks a lot better than the only other painting of Ford we know of.
- A local media-design agency has set up an online campaign aimed at changing Rogers Centre’s name to “Rogers SkyDome.” Would such a compromise satisfy the legions of pedants and nostalgics who still use the pre-2005 monicker? Unlikely.
- Post City‘s Jon Sufrin went to Pho Pasteur and had a durian shake. “Durian has made me interested in life again,” he writes. “The burps, though, are nothing to write home about.”
