- Well, the early predictions are in. Surprise, surprise: winter is probably going to be awful.
- When you’re relaxing in front of your TV or iPad or mobile phone this evening, make sure you crack a beer for the CRTC. They just prevented Bell and Astral Media, two behemoth media conglomerates, from merging into a single, possibly evil, megaconglomerate. The airwaves and internets are safe, for now.
- More good news: the Bloor Viaduct is 94 years old today. It opened on October 18, 1918.
