- This week marks a year since the all-night executive-committee meeting that some say was the beginning of the end for Mayor Rob Ford’s decision-making power at City Hall. Matt Elliott has put together a compilation of some of his favourite deputations from that night, one of which, featuring a pajama-clad Dave Meslin, is embedded above.
- Elliott also has a playlist of other deputations from the meeting.
- And a local musician was denied an apartment because he is, to paraphrase the landlord, just too damn metal. That’s actually kind of a compliment, if you ask us.
