Spotted: Sad Batman

WHERE: Just outside the Eaton Centre
WHEN: Sunday July 10
WHAT: Seems that all of us—even superheroes—can feel glum from time to time. Reports Kirby: “He was posing for pictures with some tourists when I came out of the mall, I waited until the tourists were done with their photos before I took mine… Maybe he didn’t want his picture taken again? Maybe it was just to [sic] hot and humid out to be in his costume? Who knows. Batman has always been moody like that.”

    Couple of things from me:

    1. He's sad that DC will probably re-reboot his main titles (Batman, Batman/Superman, Batman & Robin, Detective Comics, Batman Inc.) once again after finding his feet following the events of Final Crisis

    2. He's sad that the upcoming Batman movie might be the last good one with Nolan

    3. He's wondering how he'll fight the Joker in Toronto

    4. He hopes that he can find a local person to handle the Toronto part of the worldwide Batman, Inc.franchise and is lost in thought

    He's wondering if Alfred forgot to set the Tivo to record his favorite TV shows (as Bruce Wayne)
