    Anyone hear the entire exchange? Thought the link would be to an article by Gee, but it’s just a tweet. Sure it could be considered a gaffe, but then there’s that whole context thing. What did Thomson say to provoke the usually calm, quiet Pantalone?

    I was at the debate last night. I don’t remember exactly what was said, but it didn’t seem like anything Thomson was saying was more patronising than anything from Smitherman, and I was actually a little taken aback when I heard this line. Moreover, Pantalone seemed anything but calm and quiet at the debate; most of the time was spent with Pantalone and Smitherman bickering while ignoring what Thomson had to say (Ford, mercifully, left early for a retirement party, while Rossi was a no-show).
    At least, that was my opinion. I may have zoned out and neglected to notice something out of the ordinary, so anyone may feel free to correct me.

    I wasn’t there, but I’m assuming that Thomson pulled out her “Now boys, behave!” act yet again, and someone finally called her on it.
