Time To Go

winter flying by RebootYourComputer.

We're suckers for time-lapse photography (who isn't?), and ever since Flickr rolled out video-uploading capabilities a month and a half ago, a slow trickle of great clips—like the all-too-brief one above, of a trip towards our shore—have made their way into our Flickr pool.

If you've got a few minutes to kill (and don't particularly mind being enthralled), check out some more of our favourite time-lapse videos after the fold.

Parking Timelapse by Sam Javanrouh/wvs. A Bay and Edward parking lot beside the Toronto Coach Terminal. Shot in December 2006, and featured on Javanrouh's Daily Dose of Imagery photoblog then, it hasn't gotten any less lovely.

Stars and Planes by Sam Javanrouh/wvs. The Toronto sky gets streaked with lights from helicopters, planes, and stars during Earth Hour (featured in a separate post here).

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.

I remember the parking time-lapse from a couple of months ago ... good fun!

Flickr charges for video-uploading capabilities. Hint: accept YouTube videos.

Someone needs to do a timelapse at the CN Tower's revolving restaurant ASAP! Including sunset would kick ass.
