Pillows Don't Hurt People, People Do

2008_01_29pflpreview.jpg

It's fight night at the Gladstone Hotel this Thursday as the Pillow Fight League rolls back into town. The homegrown product and first professional pillow fighting league of its kind is just six months away from its second anniversary. With a glowing write-up in ESPN Magazine, a potential TV deal, and an April gig at Miami's Exxxotica Festival, the PFL is looking to make 2008 their biggest year yet.

At PFL 14, two hundred people will witness a tournament to determine who will be the number one contender to Boozy Suzy's belt. There will be 10 fights in all including a tag team grudge match, which are always thrilling. The night will also mark the return of Ursula Anvil. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door. For skeptics who think the PFL is just a novelty, watch this match from PFL 4 between Champain and Persian Princess. Damn. Double Damn. Damn Damn.
