Emily Haines, Joel Plaskett for Free? Thank You CBC Radio 3
If you're a listener to the CBC Radio 3 podcast then you already know about their free ticket giveaway. On Oct. 1st at the Kool Haus Radio 3 will be presenting See Vous Play, a cross-Canadian showcase of independent music featuring The Joel Plaskett Emergency, Emily Haines and the Soft Skeletons, Les Trois Accords, and Les Breastfeeders. The best part it's all free. So no, Ticketmaster won't be screwing you over on this one.
Hmmm maybe if the rest of the CBC did cool stuff like this instead of bankrolling shows like The One they wouldn't have so much trouble attracting that much sought after younger audience.

Ha! Good one.
Yeah, it was a super show until Haines droned on and put the crowd to sleep...Les Trois Accords did their very best to get everyone going again, but the vibe raucously created by Les Breastfeeders had all but disappeared...Metric is overrated dancy crap and Haines solofied was equally unremarkable.
