The great thing about having a pass or a wristband for NXNE is being able to see a handful of bands at different venues for one low cost. On Thursday night, we settled for staying at the Rivoli for the duration of the evening which turned out to be awesome night which ended with The Neverending White Lights playing till 2 in the morning.
If you haven’t caught anything at NXNE, you still have time. There are still plenty of bands playing across the city this evening, or if that is not your style, there is the Yonge Dundas Square Indie Music Market which runs from Noon to 8pm today. This is a great opportunity to check out some free music and meet some local musicians.
If you do have a wristband, don’t forget that it will also get you into the Bonus Series concerts tonight and tomorrow night. These include Hawksley Workman at Massey Hall, Amy Millan at the Mod Club, Tilly and the Wall at the Mod Club and Pink Mountaintops at the Horseshoe. Note that wristband admission is limited for these bonus shows, so get there early if you plan on getting in.
