Voting: Superhero of 2011

Over the past two weeks we’ve heaped praised our Heroes. Now it’s up to you to pick Torontoist’s Superhero of 2011.

DEADLINE: Votes will be accepted until midnight on Tuesday, December 27, 2011.

TO VOTE: This is a ranked ballot, so you don’t just get to pick one hero out of all the nominees but instead place all of them in order of heroism, from your favourite to your least-favourite candidate. Just grab any nominee and move them up to down to change the order on your ballot.

DETERMINING THE WINNER: Once voting has closed, we’ll tally all the first-placed votes. The nominee with the fewest votes for Superhero (i.e. with the fewest rankings of #1) will get dropped off the list—but those votes still count. We will then move on and look at the second-placed votes on the ballots for the dropped candidate, and redo our tally. The process repeats until one candidate is left standing: Superhero of the Year.
