The people behind Why Should I Care? are co-hosting with Women in TOPolitics this discussion on Canada’s new prostitution laws. Representatives from Maggie’s and After Bedford, locally based sex worker advocacy groups, will be on hand to explain the ramifications of Bill C-36, a new government bill widely criticized for ignoring the safety and rights of sex workers while fixating on criminal prosecution of those who avail themselves of, or profit from, their services.
