The monthly “lectures by amateurs” series Trampoline Hall kicks off its fall season with comic and columnist Monica Heisey on “The Dead Parents Society,” investigative journalist Nick Hune-Brown on impostors, and writer/bookseller Anna Fitzpatrick on pinball. Naomi Skwarna curates; Mischa Glouberman hosts; Soundscapes has a limited number of $6 advance tickets, and $5 rush tickets will go on sale at the Garrison at 6:30 p.m. for the prompt 8 p.m. start time (latecomers will be out of luck).
