Toronto Operetta Theatre brings back a holiday favourite light opera, Franz Lehar’s The Land of Smiles, about romance between two couples in Austria and China. And once again this year, it’ll be mounting a special New Year’s Eve gala performance, with a pre-show dinner and post-show champagne reception, if you’re of a mind to ring in the New Year in grand style.
