Russia, site of the 2014 Olympic games, has an atrocious reputation for trampling the human rights of LGBTQ people. Around the world, groups are going to be holding protests to help raise awareness. The Toronto rally starts at Church and Wellesley Streets, and will be heading up to the Russian consulate. (The organizers are asking participants to wear sports attire, to drive home the connection to the Olympics.)
