Though we’ve said farewell to a number of major and independent book retailers in the city recently, The Word on the Street is still going strong after 25 years. Queen’s Park Circle turns into a giant outdoor bookstore as authors and readers alike congregate to celebrate the written word. Meet the minds behind your favourite novels as over 200 Canadian authors will be present to read excerpts of their work, including Robyn Doolittle, Michael Lista, Shawn Micallef, Claire Cameron, Anthony De Sa, and David Bezmozgis.
