The Unspeakable Act, cited by A.V. Club as one of the best films of 2013 so far, gets a free advance screening in Toronto, hosted by local production company Medium Density Fibreboard Films. Written and directed by Dan Sallitt, it tells the story of a young woman who’s overly reliant upon (and obsessed with) her older brother, who has to fend for herself when he leaves for college. Sallitt will be in attendance, and will answer questions afterwards in a discussion moderated by the Village Voice critic Calum Marsh.
