Veteran members of Toronto’s improv community, including members of Bad Dog Theatre, the National Theatre of the World, and Sex T-Rex, are remounting a popular improvised soap opera at Bad Dog’s new space. Retitled The Soaps: Dirty South, the Dallas homage will be even more overt and, like the TV show, will run weekly, until mid-November. The cast includes Jan Caruana, Nigel Downer, and Lindsay Mullan, and there will be surprise guests and plot twists each week.
