Performer Ashley Gibson, last seen co-starring in Hart House Theatre’s The Wedding Singer, developed a one-woman cabaret show honouring her mother, whom she lost to suicide at an early age. She—in conjunction with Angelwalk Theatre—will be bringing that show, The Life Is Sweet Project, back for a one-night-only fundraiser for the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. Gibson has been blogging at Dancing Through Life about dealing with depression and mental illness, and sharing guest posts from a number of experts as a lead-up to the event.
