The Revue Cinema is paying tribute to Hollywood’s first leading ladies with “IT GIRLS: Sirens of the Silent Screen.” Silent Revue kicks off this yearlong series with Josef von Sternberg’s Underworld from 1927, a piece that set the standard for gangster films. Evelyn Brent stars as the unflappable “Feathers,” alongside George Bancroft and Clive Brook. William O’Meara will provide live musical accompaniment to enhance the cinematic experience.
