Though Maple Leaf Gardens has been transformed into a mega-sized grocery store and Ryerson athletic centre, the memories live on. Heritage Toronto will be unveiling a new historical plaque to commemorate the storied venue. Afterward, there will be a free skate at Ryerson’s ice rink on the top floor.
