The folks at Urban Capers have a regular Haunted Toronto scavenger hunt. Now’s the perfect time to go, because it’s just getting to that point in the summer where it’s cool enough at night to feel a chill upon learning, say, that there’s a mass graveyard in Yorkville, or that Queen’s Park once housed the criminally insane (doesn’t it still?). Teams of two to six participants have two hours in which to collect historical facts and clues. The hunt takes place entirely outside, so you could presumably bring Scooby Doo. Definitely bring a flashlight.
