The members of Scarborough’s EAST Collective, a youth-oriented community arts program run by Scarborough Arts, descend on downtown Toronto for the launch of the project’s second album, Kings and Queens. The young artists come from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines, including jazz, indie, and spoken word, so the evening should appeal to a variety of tastes. Though members of the collective are as young as 16, the event is 19+.
