The annual Tim Sims Encouragement Award show, known as the Cream of Comedy, this year features host (and past Cream of Comedy winner) Jeff McEnery and sets by short list nominees Sam Burns, Caitlin Langelier, Moist Theatre, Brendan Pinto, and Torontoist contributor Jeremy Woodcock. The award is intended to provide encouragement to Canadian comics early in their careers, and we hope a winner will be announced in time to poke impromptu fun at the election results.
