While we’d rather not think about the frigid and blustery months ahead of us, we can’t help but be excited about the return of Long Winter. The event known for being overstuffed with art, music, film, live readings, food, dance, and general awesomeness is launching its 2014-15 season by partaking in the Bloor Takeover. Documentaries The Fire Flies, Our Hobby is Depeche Mode/The Posters Came From the Walls, and Just a Million Dreams will make their Toronto debuts; Absolutely Free’s new album will premiere, set to a holographic light show; Long Night with Vish Khanna will kick off its second season; and a variety of art pieces and exhibits from local artists will occupy every square inch of the building.
