Here’s something straight out of a science fiction movie: an artificially intelligent being that composes music! LIVINGSTON has access to a database containing of all Canada’s folk creations and, having digested it, has produced transcriptions of original musical progressions and lyrics. To celebrate the release of his first album—Artificially Intelligent Folk Songs of Canada—the Vol. 1 Band, Misha Bower, Marshall Bureau, and JJ Ipsen will be performing the computer-generated tracks at Tranzac.
