Scene: Rob Ford’s Visitation

A long line of well-wishers came to pay their respects to the former mayor.

WHERE: City Hall, 100 Queen Street West

WHEN: Monday, March 28, 10:00 a.m.

WHAT: Hundreds of well-wishers lined up in the City Hall rotunda to pay their last respects to former mayor Rob Ford, who lay in repose. Ford passed away last Tuesday after living with cancer for 18 months. He was 46. Ford’s family was in attendance to greet visitors, as were many councillors. Former chiefs of staff and mayoral staffers were also on hand, as were members of the Ford-coached Don Bosco Eagles football team, and supporters donning Ford Nation shirts. The visitation continues Monday and Tuesday, and the funeral service will take place Wednesday.
