FIELD NOTES: | Our favourite whimsical interventionists, Time and Desire, are back with another one of their signature street signs. Known for encouraging urban play through street sign interventions, this is no exception, and encourages us to explore Toronto. Now that we finally have snow on the ground, a nice meander through the city can be delightful. It gives us a chance to appreciate how the layers of white powder (or grey slush depending on when you read this) transform what was once recognizable into an almost alien landscape. While it’s no group hug or daily smile we feel it’s staying true to our February theme of positivity. Enjoy the chance to see the city from a new perspective! Go outside and enjoy getting lost! |
Once a week, Vandalist features some of the most interesting street art and graffiti from around Toronto. Find something great? Email [email protected].
