| FIELD NOTES: | It’s not exactly beach weather but there are still great reasons to head lakeside. Spotting hidden artistic gems this time of year is significantly easier when their vivid colours stand out against the season’s dreary grey. It’s not like the summer, when they’re obscured by lush green grass, crisp blue water, and brightly coloured flowers. There may be a slight chill to the air, but as a bonus you don’t have to deal with the riffraff of peak beach season—no screaming kids, rowdy teens or drunk hipsters. If you’re looking for something to do this weekend consider a trip to the beach! |
