Here’s a Really Young Marcus Stroman on a Game Show in 1997

Important Marcus Stroman news

Long before he got pumped up on Major League Baseball mounds, Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Marcus Stroman did the same on a 1997 episode of the Nickelodeon game show Figure it Out. (You can see him at the 4:07 mark, alongside his beefcake dad.)

Little Stro didn’t appear as a contestant, but the then-five or six-year-old was selected from the studio audience to compete for a prize. Stroman went on to win a $100 gift certificate to Toys ‘R Us–not quite David Price money, but better than riding the bus in the minor leagues.

But the best part is Stroman’s eternally GIFable reaction.
