- ICYMI, at last Wednesday’s “Drake Night,” Raptors GM Masai Ujiri bequeathed upon our buddy, Aubrey a custom camel overcoat lined with number six “OVO Alternate” Raptors jerseys. Complex has the story behind the $20,000 sartorial tradition.
- Speaking of sports, Toronto police have seized more than $12 million dollars worth of counterfeit goods, a “large quantity” of which included knockoff Blue Jays gear. Much of the merch was sold during the playoffs in September and October.
- According to a backgrounder from Citizenship and Immigration Canada, Toronto will soon be welcoming over 80 per cent of the province’s privately-sponsored refugees. Most of the GTA’s 2,602 privately-sponsored refugees will be settling in downtown and Willowdale; all but 20 had not yet arrived in Canada as of November 29.
