HAPPY INTERNATIONAL CAPS LOCK DAY! In the news: the Jays force Game 6 in the ALCS, Toronto and Kansas City battle over who has more spine, and Bombardier faces a potential TTC ban.

The Jays beat the Kansas City Royals 7-1 last night, forcing Game Six of the American League Championship Series. The two teams will face off this Friday at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, where the Jays will send David Price to the mound in another must-win game.
Speaking of the Jays, the Toronto Public Library and the Kansas City Library are engaged in a blood feud over their respective sporting teams following a tweet from the Missouri-based library. Kansas City tweeted a book spine message Tuesday following a win the previous night: “Canada Sorry You Lost What Bluebirds Do.” The Canadian library spat back with another spine message, “Warning Kansas City It Ain’t Over Till It’s Over.” (No word yet if the TPL is in possession of this great read.)
Bombardier Inc. risks losing future contracts with the Toronto Transit Commission as part of a punishment for the corporation’s tardy streetcar deliveries. The TTC’s board will convene October 28 to discuss plans surrounding business deals with Bombardier; options against the corporation include legal action and a $50 million late delivery fee. Only 10 of the promised 67 new streetcars are currently in operation.
