Happy Tuesday! Your news today: CF Sherway Gardens opens, food banks in the inner suburbs suffer high demand, and most of the major federal party leaders speak on gender issues at Up For Debate.

Live or work near Sherway Gardens (25 The West Mall)? Well, now you can visit CF Sherway Gardens, the newly expanded (and rebranded) Cadillac Fairview mall that’s open today after months of renovations. Cadillac Fairview is planning to monogram all their malls, including Eaton Centre, with CF.
We’re staying outside of downtown for the next piece of news: food banks in Toronto are seeing rising demand in Scarborough, Etobicoke, and the other inner suburbs. That’s left area foodbanks in need of more resources.
It was a bit different from the usual debate, and Steve-O didn’t attend: in last night’s Up For Debate, Elizabeth May, Tom Mulcair, Gilles Duceppe, and Justin Trudeau all had the chance to talk about what their party would do to address gendered campaign issues in pre-recorded interviews that were discussed live by a panel of distinguished female leaders.
