  • An elderly woman appears to be unharmed after accidentally driving her car through several fences and into an Etobicoke swimming pool earlier this afternoon. No, you’re not going to get any wisecracks about how the incident really “made a splash,” so stop asking.
  • A Beck taxi driver suffered minor injuries after a man shot at his cab today in North York before escaping in a black Honda Civic. The incident happened around noon near Bathurst and Wilson; police continue to investigate.
  • Local tech wiz Peter MacDonald has made a zombie survival game that uses Google Maps data to envision a post-apocalyptic, undead Toronto. Not that it makes a difference either way, but Toronto brains are probably the tastiest.
