WHAT: The Toronto Zombie Walk bade farewell to Toronto on Saturday with a funeral ceremony at the Royal Cinema, followed by a wake at the CNE. The annual march, which grew from seven zombies 13 years ago to a peak of 15,000, ended due to the cancellation of a government grant worth $10,000. Subsequent fundraising efforts fell short. Among the high-profile attendees over the years were former Raptors power forward Amir Johnson, and former mayor Rob Ford.
