FIELD NOTES: | Back in the graffiti heyday taggers used subway cars to spread their name across cities and reach a whole new level of visibility. These days that’s a rare sight, especially in Toronto. But what artists lack in subway access they make up for by writing on utility trucks. Whether done with permission or under the darkness of night, they sure make for a better sight and a more vibrant streetscape than a boring white cube truck. |
Once a week, Vandalist features some of the most interesting street art and graffiti from around Toronto. Find something great? Email [email protected].
