  • A Hydro One employee will be fired after shouting sexual threats and obscenities at CityNews reporter Shauna Hunt in a news broadcast that has since launched a citywide outcry against sexual harassment. The man, in addition to two others also involved in the harassment incident, are also facing an potentially yearlong ban from Toronto FC games.
  • A judge has found Constable Andrew Pak guilty of punching an innocent man in an instance of illegal “street justice.” Mutaz Elmardy, the black man who was stopped, carded, searched, and then punched in the 2011 police confrontation with Const. Pak, has been awarded $27,000 in damages.
  • In less depressing news, Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport was just ranked among the 10 most beautiful in the world by a new global poll, which is pretty cool.
