  • Toronto-born 7’5 basketball player Sim Bhullar just inked a deal with the Sacramento Kings, earning him the distinction of becoming the first NBA player of Indian descent. While he is a fringe NBA player, we hear he is very good at playing keep-away.
  • With the Pan Am and Parapan Am Games approaching, some condo dwellers are realizing the potential goldmines hiding in plain sight within their humble abodes. This comes as news to condo owners who rent out their units, who The Globe and Mail advises to check sites like Kijiji and Airbnb for covert listings of. Gotta look out for number one?
  • Good news for local cools: The FADER magazine is partnering with a stage at June’s NXNE music festival, and its headliners will be none other than the buzzed-about rap duo Rae Sremmurd. Bet you don’t feel as badly about missing South by now, eh? (Don’t answer.)
