- In today’s Drake news, the Degrassi star-turned hip hop sensation launched a clothing line in collaboration with the Raptors. Sadly, there are no branded lint rollers to go along with the merchandise.
- Tragically, two men died at a construction site at Bloor and Keele this morning. Scaffolding on the site broke in half, and the two construction workers fell seven storeys.
- In a case that critics say will have an effect on whether people phone Children’s Aid Society to report concerns, an unlicensed childcare provider has been ordered to pay more than $13,000 for causing “emotional pain and suffering” after reporting the parents to CAS. The ruling stated that there was “no basis whatsoever” to report the parents to CAS, and suggested that the daycare provider may have been overreacting to another case that was in the news at the time.
