  • A TTC map was removed from Dongsview Downsview Station today after making waves on social media for fairly self-explanatory reasons. TTC spokesperson Brad Ross told Metro, “The TTC is sensitive to anyone who may have been offended by the phallic shape of the map, which is why we are replacing it.”
  • Toronto’s Wrigley gum factory near Leslie St. and Eglinton Ave. E. will be shutting down in 2016, resulting in the loss of 383 jobs. Wrigley representatives cite “declines in the gum category” as the motivating factor behind the company’s decision.
