- Today is February 6, 2015. Some people know it as Friday, others know it as the beginning of the weekend. In Toronto, it is also Bob Marley Day. The special day is an annual Toronto tradition – last year Rob Ford proclaimed it and celebrated by calling in sick – and John Tory proclaimed it today. That said, it is unlikely John Tory celebrated like this.
