WHAT: While a handful of Team Canada supporters braved the cold to watch the gold medal game for the annual world juniors hockey tournament outdoors, plenty more watched the game from the comfort of Real Sports Bar. Team Canada built up an early lead, but Russia responded, making it a 5–4 game going into the third period. That would end up being the final score, and fans in the Air Canada Centre had the unusual experience of seeing a Domi (in this case, Tie’s son Max) win a championship at the arena. The win marks Canada’s first gold medal at the tournament since 2009. Enjoy it while you can, Toronto.
