No Subway Service Between St. George and Pape Stations This Weekend

Construction on the Prince Edward Viaduct is the culprit behind the closure.

There will be no subway service between St. George and Pape stations this weekend.

The TTC is shutting down the section of Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) so the City can perform structural work on the Prince Edward Viaduct, which carries the subway over the Don Valley.

Shuttle buses will run between the two stations (including over the bridge), and Wheel-Trans vehicles will be available for transit riders who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices.

Bloor-Yonge, Castle Frank, and Broadview stations will remain open for fare transactions and connecting transit routes; Bay, Sherbourne, and Chester stations will stay closed all weekend.

Subway service will be back to normal starting Monday, December 8 at 6 a.m.
