Here’s How Much You’ll Pay to Ride the UP Express

The regular fare will run you $27.50—but Presto card users will get a discount.

When the 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games roll around, you’ll be able to hop on a train at Pearson Airport and then pull into Union Station 25 minutes later. How much will that ride cost you? The regular fare will come to $27.50, but Presto card users will get a discount, paying $19.

Other discounted fares will be available for families, regular riders, and other groups. Airport workers will get a one-way trip for $10 and have the option of buying a monthly pass for $300.

The fares were announced by Premier Kathleen Wynne this morning at the airport’s new UP Express station. She also toured one of the new trains—six have already arrived, and 12 more are on their way. The trains will depart every 15 minutes, and feature Wi-Fi, check-in service, and flight information boards.

The fare structure will be taken to Metrolinx’s board tomorrow for approval. More details can be found here:
