Scene: Sorauren Park Pumpkin Parade

Kentucky Fried Zombie, Jack Skellington, and a despicable Minion were all on display at the 10th annual jack-o'-lantern spookfest.

WHERE: Sorauren Avenue Park

WHEN: Saturday, November 1

WHAT: The Sorauren Park Pumpkin Parade. For the 10th year in a row, hundreds of jack-o’-lanterns lined the path through Sorauren Avenue Park, lighting it up with a spooky orange glow. The famous Pumpkin Parade has inspired other ghastly gourd-based galas across Toronto and in other cities such as Montreal and New York. This year’s instalment featured the usual nods to classic slasher flicks and age-old tales of horror—as well as a few more topical (but no less frightening) subjects.
