Scene: Santa Claus Parade 2014

Father Christmas and his entourage made their way from Christie Pits to the St. Lawrence Market on Sunday.

WHERE: Bloor Street, University Avenue, Front Street

WHEN: Sunday, November 16

WHAT: The 110th annual Santa Claus Parade. Thousands of bundled-up onlookers lined the parade route, along which rolled more than 30 floats this year. Gleeful, candy-cane munching kids watched as marching bands, gingerbread men, and elves passed by, but it was Santa they’d really come to see—and then what to their wondering eyes did appear but a sizeable sleigh, and some plastic reindeer. The jolly old fat guy made his way from Christie Pits to the St. Lawrence Market, jingling all the way.
