Extra, Extra: Mysterious Lane Closures, Poop and Privilege, and Partisan Tractor Kerfuffles
Every weekday’s end, we collect just about everything you ought to care about or ought not to miss.

- “Why are there lanes closed on the Gardiner but no work being done?” asks the Star. Excitingly enough, it seems these mysterious lane closures have something to do with a project that could last up to 20 years.
- Forest Hill. Feuding neighbours. A judge who says things like, “Despite their many advantages in life … they are acting like children.” This headline: “No one wins in Toronto ‘poop and scoop’ case.” In summary: a court case about privilege and turds that will fill you with wonder and despair.
- Premier Kathleen Wynne drove a blue tractor yesterday at a campaign stop in southwestern Ontario. The PCs then accused her of not following tractor safety guidelines. Twitter then obliged with a photo of leader Tim Hudak driving a blue tractor in a similar manner. The Tories countered that Hudak’s tractor had not been moving. The Liberals proceeded to produce video proving Hudak’s tractor had, in fact, been moving. Liberal campaign co-chair Deb Matthews referred to this chain of events as the “tractor kerfuffle.” We think that’s a good start, but would be happier with “the Great Tractor Kerfuffle of 2014.”
