- What’s in store for the St. Clair right-of-way in 2018? More construction, it seems. The TTC will be spending somewhere in the neighbourhood of $7 million on its platforms in order to make them compatible with the new streetcars’ mobility ramps.
- The Raptors are celebrating their 20th birthday by introducing a special logo, which apparently “embodies the excitement of both the future and the past of Raptors basketball”—and also manages to look a bit like a Vin Diesel movie poster decorated with someone’s erratic attempt at cursive writing. In a good way, maybe.
- Social media responds to many things—it’s no surprise that the Twitterverse responded in a healthy and vigorous way to Rob Ford’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel last night. And traditional media responds vigorously to Twitter’s responses to things: here are two different roundups of Twitter’s reaction to our mayor’s late-night appearance.
