Extra, Extra: Maestro Meets Cronenberg, the Government Cares About Feeding Children, and Profiles of Streetcar Riders
Every weekday’s end, we collect just about everything you ought to care about or ought not to miss.

- Maestro Fresh Wes has a new video that features synth-pop artist Lights, and imagines what it would be like if Lights’ hair grew up and into the electrical system of an office building. Unlike his video for “Drop the Needle,” this one was apparently inspired by the films of David Cronenberg.
- Industry Minister James Moore recently asked a radio reporter the following question: “Is it the government’s job—my job to feed my neighbour’s child? I don’t think so.” Faced with a growing backlash from all the Canadians who think the federal government should actually be concerned with and about hungry children, Moore has now apologized.
- The Star’s transit blog took a ride on the Queen streetcar, and talked to riders about the stories behind their commutes.
