These “neighbourhood watch” signs have been around for years, possibly decades, and they’ve all seen much better days. You’ve almost certainly noticed them, because they’re scattered all across the GTA. But when’s the last time you saw one that wasn’t faded, bent, and/or illegible? It’s nice to see that this artist Batman is taking advantage of them. I think we can all agree that the Batman symbol is both more effective at conveying neighbourhood safety and significantly less creepy that a trio of staring, giant-eyed, cyclops houses. Other Toronto neighbourhood watch signs have gotten similar treatment.
