WHAT: Mayor Rob Ford’s handling of his drug scandal has consisted mostly of him stonewalling the press even as questions about his fitness to serve continue to mount. On Saturday, about 300 people who had responded to a Facebook invite gathered in Nathan Phillips Square to demand Ford’s resignation. They held up signs and chalked slogans onto the pavement. The mayor still has yet to firmly deny that he has used crack.
